Super League season 2026 Round 10

9 rounds in and the table's right tight, with 8 points separating top from bottom. This week saw the top 6 meeting one another so the chance to create some small gaps might happen, although of course this alao presented an opportunity for the teams below to close the gap!

Hull Kingston Rovers v Castleford

Rovers are on a roll at the moment winning four on the trot while Cas are struggling at the wrong end of the table, despite surprising Wigan recently. They have strengthened during the week but the trip to Hull looked like it could be a tricky one for the Tigers.

Leeds v Wakefield Trinity

Trinity have a chance to bounce back from their defeat against Saints last round when meeting their local rivals this week. Last season Wakefield held the edge winning two of the three meetings and they already hold bragging rights having dumped the league leaders out of the Challenge Cup. However Leeds are in good form and will be eager for revenge to maintain their position at the top of the table.

St Helens v York Knights

The other joint leaders were welcoming Jack Welsby back to the first team squad after recovering from a shoulder dislocation in the opening round of the season, and a competitive York side who'd already gone toe to toe with some of the top sides this year. Saints had reinforced their position at the top of the league and were on a winning run that extended back to the end of March. Meanwhile the Knights had just broken a run of 5 defeats with a solid victory against Toulouse last time out.

Wigan v Bradford Bulls

Something had to give this weekend for these two sides as Wigan were looking to halt a run of 4 defeats in the league before their Challenge Cup semi final Derby next weekend and the Bulls were suffering an injury crisis which had seen them fail to pick up points since their meeting with Hudderfield back in March.

Catalan Dragons v Leigh Leopards

This was the second match up between these two sides this season and Leigh were looking to make up for the close 16-22 home defeat in round 4. Since then Les Dracs have lost their head coach Joel Tomkins to Union, where he's joining Gloucester as their defence coach in the summer, but have managed to show some fine home form despite that, with four wins from four including beating high flying Warrington (yeah ok, I'll not mention their away form!). Leigh have just lost to two clubs since that meeting, unfortunately one of those clubs was Warrington both in the league and the cup last month.

Huddersfield Giants v Warrington

Hull FC v Toulouse Olympique
